35 Variant - CGC 7.0. Back when this initial comic book adaptation of "Star Wars" was released even BEFORE the film itself, Marvel was experimenting with a 5 cent price increase. They made a limited amount of 35 cent cover price "test" copies of many comics and only released them in four select cities and surrounding areas: Memphis TN, Toledo OH, Tuscaloosa AL, and Wilmington DE. Due in part to these two factors, Overstreet has long suggested that only around 1,500 copies of this. 35 version were ever printed. And to top that off, there's strong speculation that less than a third (500 or so copies) of the 1,500 estimated print run are thought to have survived to this day.
