This issue features the first appearances of Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, C-3PO, R2-D2 and Darth Vader. First cover appearances of Han Solo and Obi-Wan Wan Kenobi. First issue of on going comic book series.

Roy Thomas adapted the story. Howard Chaykin provided the interior art work and was assisted on the cover by Tom Palmer. This book came back from CGC where it received an 8.5. The graders notes say, light creasing to front cover and light spine stress lines to cover.

I wrap the book in bubble wrap, then sandwich it between two oversized pieces of cardboard, then I fill the box with more bubbles for more protection. Please look at photos that are provided.
